My training philosophy
Building on a lifetime of experience riding and working with horses, I began training horses several years ago when given the opportunity by one of my long-time mentors. This first colt helped me find a passion for starting young horses using a blend of methods that I learned from different trainers. I believe that the most important step in every session is to meet a horse at their comfort and ability level, then to build from there. Creating confidence and mutual respect is the foundation of my training program. I only believe in progressing with horses once they have shown they are prepared to take the next step.
